Acquisition of real estate in Bulgaria and the UAE: Trends in preferences

Citizens of Russia and other countries often purchase houses and apartments in Bulgaria on the Black Sea coast. The purpose of the purchase is your own vacation, but the often purchased real estate is rented by tourists. However, living in Bulgaria is attractive to its climate.

However, according to Russians, in addition to Bulgaria, there is another country in which real estate is relatively inexpensive, but the climate is better than Bulgarian. This is the UAE, where the beach season is open all year round, and real estate is cheaper than Moskvskaya. At the same time, when buying an apartment or house in Bulgaria, it must be remembered that the value of real estate in the north of the country – in Varna, Alben, golden sands – more expensive in comparison with southern resorts – Burgas and the sunny coast. The reason is the more developed infrastructure of the northern zones.

The range of housing in Bulgaria is very significant for foreigners. So, for example, Russians seek to purchase a studio with a price limit of 20 thousand euros or one -room apartment up to 25 thousand euros. The average cost of Bulgarian real estate is from 35 to 75 thousand euros. It is very different from cheap housing, in which plywood partitions and a simple finish. In more expensive apartments, high -quality finishing materials, modern doors and windows, good plumbing were used.

Despite its attractiveness, the market of modern real estate in Bulgaria is characterized by some instability. That’s why the elite houses of this country are interested in very few Russians. At the same time, real estate of the UAE is very attractive. The market in the emirates is stable, housing is constantly getting more expensive. Therefore, what was bought yesterday for a small price, after a while it can be profitably sold with profit.

The most popular real estate in Bulgaria – Burgas and Varna – very large tourism centers. The infrastructure has developed here all year round and a full life is provided. Less developed resort towns with the end of the season “freeze”: most restaurants and stores are closed, so serious purchases require a trip to large cities.

A completely different situation in the Emirates: the holiday season lasts a whole year and the beach life hits the key in all places. It is for this reason that investors prefer real estate in the UAE, for example, Dubai.

When buying a house or apartment in the UAE, our compatriots become full owners of real estate in the resort area. Moreover, they can make a profit from rent or earn at a stable increase in the cost of the object. The Bulgaria market cannot promise this.
