How to paint wooden frames correctly

In order to avoid random painting, window accessories are first removed. Further, by means of sandpaper and stacking, the old paint is removed. After which the surface is wiped with alcohol and washed. It is important to scraping the old paint to be careful in order to maintain the integrity of the wooden base.

Then follows the queue of putty work that will allow to hide the defects. Having waited several hours, let the putty dry, the surface is aligned, using sandpaper for this purpose. After that, it is necessary to eliminate all the dust.

The paint will cover the surface evenly if the frame is pre -primed. The primer will dry at least four hours. Next comes the staining stage. However, first you need to take care of protecting the glass, gluing them with a masking tape.

Initially, the outer surfaces are covered with paint. Moreover, hard -to -reach places are first processed and only after that the rest of the frame. Having completed staining, molar tape is removed.
