A Bitcoin wallet is a specialized software or device that allows you to store, send and receive BTC.
Two types of wallets:
- hot — for example, Trust Wallet, Exodus, BlueWallet, Electrum. Constantly connected to the Internet, convenient for quick transactions, but less secure;
- cold — for example, Trezor, Ledger, Keystone, OneKey. These are offline wallets, better suited for long-term storage. Safe, but less convenient for frequent transactions.
There are also multi-platform wallets, such as Zengo or Coinomi, with access from multiple devices.
For maximum anonymity, it is recommended to use Samourai or Wasabi Wallet with a mixing function.
Main methods of replenishment
It is impossible to replenish a Bitcoin wallet directly from a card — you will have to contact specialized services.
How it happens:
- You find an exchanger or a BTC seller.
- Transfer him fiat – a currency issued by the state, for example rubles (usually through the SBP, less often – to a card or in cash).
- Receive BTC to the specified address.
Always check the reputation of the exchanger and use secure platforms.
