How to varnish a wooden floor.

Constantly maintaining a wooden floor in good condition is not so difficult. The most important thing is to repair it in time. For this, various protective materials are used, one of the common are varnishes.

Preparation before applying varnish to the floor of wood is that the old material should be completely eliminated. You can do this using a grinding machine. Next, you will need to replace damaged boards, which, after eliminating the previously applied protective layer, become noticeable especially well.

Followed by the wooden floor covering with a primer. This material makes it possible to get rid of the pores present on the wood, as well as to ensure better consolidation of the varnish subsequently. You can start applying varnish only after the primer is completely dry.

Lacing can be performed in various ways. It is best to use a brush. Although the roller in this case will do. The most important thing is that the optimal number of layers of varnish is chosen. Sometimes they are required up to ten. But usually the owners cost three or four. Each after application should dry. The next layer of varnish can only be applied when earlier.
