Partitions made of drywall

Starting repairs in the apartment, in most cases, the owners come to the conclusion that without redevelopment of the premises of global changes, do not achieve. What is redevelopment? This is the demolition and transfer of old partitions and the construction of new. Increasingly, a drywall sheet (GKL) is used for these purposes, in a different gipper. The construction of the partition begins with the installation of the frame from a metal profile, less often from a wooden timber.

On the frame with the help of self -tapping screws, the gipper is attached at first on one side. Then the internal space of the future partition is filled with sound insulation (URSA, ISOVER) and is sewn up by the second layer of GKL. Drywall can also be used to build suspended and multi -level ceilings.

Gypsum cardboard serves as an excellent basis for wallpaper, paint, fastening wall panels and even tile laying. The preparation of the wall from the Gipro for the final decoration consists in the priming, putting and sealing of the seams and re -primer.

Drywall has become widespread due to a lot of advantages. It is environmentally friendly, has excellent sound – and thermal insulation, as well as the property of moisture absorption. Drywall has a low weight, is easy to install, and at minimal costs a flat and fairly strong surface is obtained.
