The most difficult and responsible step in the repair of the apartment is the repair of the children’s room. It is very important that all the materials used in the children’s interior meet the highest environmental indicators and do not harm the child. And when the question arises about painting walls, the answer should not cause you difficulties, because it is indisputable by water -based paints, which are absolutely harmless to the child’s growing body and are very convenient when used, are not toxic and are not smell, but dry almost instantly. Coatings that are obtained if necessary can be repainted. Water colors are universal. They can paint walls, ceilings, furniture and much more. There are many surfaces that can be painted with water paints: plastered, previously painted, putty, trimmed fiberboard, concrete, trimmed with sheets, vinyl and paper wallpaper and other surfaces. The result is a durable surface that can often be washed, and the shades of these colors are a huge amount, which will delight your child’s eyes. Give him a rainbow. The scientists believe that as the child grows, the color of the children’s room needs to be changed, and in this case, water paint is also indispensable. You can paint the rooms with paintings from your favorite children’s fairy tales, a palette of water colors will help you with this. We will discuss some tips on the use of water colors. Firstly, before starting work, you need to calculate the required amount of paint. For this, the following formula is used: the required amount of paint (kg) = the rate of paint consumption per 1 m2 (kg/m2) × area for painting (M2). Secondly, prepare tools that you may need: brushes, roller, spray gun, sandpaper, scraper, rag, rubber gloves. Before starting work, it is necessary to completely prepare the surface: clean, remove dust with a damp rag, and where there is fat pollution, it is necessary to wash with a rag with soapy solution. If the surface was previously painted, then the places where it is damaged must be cleaned. All shortcomings, hollows, cracks need to be thrown. Then the surface must be sanded with sandpaper and wiped with a damp rag. The paint must be thoroughly mixed, if there is a need, then it can be diluted with water (10 % of water for the first layer, 5 % for the second). Apply the paint with the help of brushes, roller and spray gun, evenly distributing it on the surface. To achieve the most good result, apply paint in two layers, giving the first layer to dry. Remember, the children’s eyes delight bright and colorful paints, but the main thing here is to “not go too far”, because if the colors do not form a color ensemble, then the harmony will be disturbed as a result. It is believed that in order to avoid too much variegation of the room, you need to use no more than four colors in one room that should form a color ensemble.
