What is wooden plastic

I think that few have heard about such a building material as wood -layer plastic, which is one of the new building materials. Its manufacture occurs by compression when exposed to a high temperature of sheets of wood veneer, and in the end saturated with a special polymer. What is this wood veneer?

Wood veneer is wood chips, which has a thickness of not more than 1, 5 mm. As the basis here are birch, oak, alder, beech, etc. The manufacture of wood -layer plastic includes several stages. First, the veneer is prepared, it is impregnated with a binder of the polymer solution, after which it is overdried. After that, the veneer is put into special packages and it is sent to compression when exposed to high temperatures (150-160 0C). And in the end the unnecessary edges are cut. Wood -layer plastic consists of 24% polymer. If the polymer solution is smaller, then wooden plastic will not be so durable when bending and other mechanical deformations. Also, wood -layer plastic is remarkable building material because it also has high heat resistance, low thermal conductivity and high resistance to atmospheric phenomena. That is why it is used to lush walls of houses and in the manufacture of furniture.
