For a long time, the government promised to introduce a new real estate tax, and now it seems to be their dream very soon can come true. Or rather even due to its terms – January 1. As officials promise, the introduction of new rules will not increase the burden on Russians. But experts have a different opinion that is radically different from the position voiced by the relevant ministry. Firstly, during the calculations, tax rates were calculated by the example of only 12 entities, while they and how these changes will be reflected in other regions that were not taken into account yet. It is worth recalling that the newly introduced real estate tax will replace the current taxes on property of citizens, as well as land tax. Both of these taxes are paid by citizens annually. In order to test the new tax, it will first be introduced in the “advanced” regions to see how it will take root, the rest will feel innovations. True, there are many opinions on whom the initiative of the government will hit first of all. After all, the new tax will be tied to the value of real estate recorded in the cadastre, and it, in turn, is as close as possible to the market price. In this regard, it is already estimated that the tax base after the implementation of the initiative in actions will increase to eight times. According to independent analysts, such innovations will hit, first of all, to those who live in old houses. For example, the price of housing in a new building is already close to the market, and its size will be calculated from its wear. While housing in Stalin at the cost is much lower, recorded in the cadastre. And even if the rate decreases on them, it is the tenants of the old houses that will bear significant expenses. But they mainly live in them pensioners or not wealthy segments of the population. In this regard, we can say that the new reform, first of all, will hit the pocket of not the richest people. In addition, this initiative will adversely affect the activities of a small business, since various objects used for production costs significantly vary, and when evaluating it, first of all, will be affected by the interests of small entrepreneurs.
