Investors specializing in work in the hotel real estate sector have been riveted with attention to the situation that is taking shape around the most popular and demanded in Ireland hotel “Ashford Castle”. A masterpiece of architecture and one of the most profitable hotel complexes of the country is put up for sale at a relatively small price – “only” twenty -five million euros. Given the fact that the hotel also belongs to more than three hundred and sixty -five acres of land, the purchase gains really great interest in the real estate market. It is worth noting that at one time the castle was sold and bought at a price exceeding fifty million euros. As already noted, the building has not only commercial value, but also is a monument of architecture, as more than seven hundred years ago was built. Despite the fact that “Ashford Castle” is considered an elite hotel complex, the local prices have always pleased tourists. For example, in 2012, the administration asked only 315 euros for daily accommodation in one of the ordinary hotel rooms. Nevertheless, at the peak of the tourist season, the cost of a standard number was not rarely up to 900 euros per night, which is still much lower than in similar complexes of France, Austria or Spain.
